This is all in addition to the already standard level of equipment with which the top-of-the-range C320 was fitted.
Finished in classic Brilliant silver metallic, with Alpaca grey leather to the interior, the car was supplied new by Mercedes-Benz Bremen (where the car was built) on 1st February 2001 to its first owner, a British musician of some note who was resident in Switzerland. The car was UK registered from the outset, despite spending the first years of its life also resident in Switzerland. Initially registered with a private registration number, the car was re-registered as X197 YAA and subsequently passed to its second owner, a noted car collector, before being acquired by myself in 2021, since when it has been part of my own collection and registered in my name.
The mileage today stands at 81, 000 miles (I have covered 20, 000 of these) and this is supported by a full service history and a complete run of MoT tests.
Mechanics:
This Mercedes has clearly always been very well maintained. The engine bay is extremely clean and evidence that the car has received careful maintenance. Nominal mileage has been covered since being serviced just over a month our so ago- a major service which included a new oil level sensor and full set of 12 spark plugs - and since obtaining a new MoT certificate. At the same time, three tyres (one was already new) were replaced, with Pirellis, naturally, just as were fitted from new. Around 2020, a new exhaust system was fitted, again, a genuine Mercedes item, and in 2021 the car received a new Varta battery.
