Description
Imported from the United States in 2013, this 912 passed through the Netherlands before being bought by a Luxembourg collector who undertook a full restoration of the bodywork. It was then acquired in 2015 by a Frenchman and underwent a full engine restoration at RS Motorsport.
I acquired it in 2020 via Carjager and have since maintained it with the greatest care. The photo dossier traces all stages of the restoration: stripping, sanding, localised touch-ups, filler primer and a full repaint.
The current shade differs from the original colour (Irish Green) — the car is neither matching numbers nor matching colours, choices were made for aesthetics and usability, black being within the original catalogue and the engine also being original, with the usual exception of Weber carburettors.
