Christmas is, whether we like it or not, coming. The fat man is sliding into his red and white suit. The reindeer are being primed, prepped and serviced and the jingly sleigh is getting a fresh coat of wax in readiness for the season of turkey and far, far too many mince pies (though is there such a thing as too many?). Yup, it’s happening. And that means it’s time to start buying gifts for your nearest and dearest, unless of course they are on the naughty list, in which case they’re out of luck. For those on the nice list, however, you might be wondering what to buy them. Or, as we’re showing here, you might just want some lovely little stocking fillers for the petrolhead in your life.<\/p>\n

We have had a look through the internet and come up with three options for you. Gifts that will delight, that will excite and that will be used, not left to gather dust in a drawer. And there’s something for every budget, too. So no matter who it is in your life who likes cars, you can get them a Christmas gift they’ll love. Or, you can buy the items below, and when they arrive, realise they’re ace, and then keep them for yourself. Not that we would ever do such a thing. Nope. Ahem.<\/p>\n

Basic – Makita Pocket Ratchet<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

When we said stocking fillers, we meant it. This little Makita ratchet and driver set<\/a> is rinky dinky, and will fit snugly in a stocking as well as in the lucky recipient’s pocket. And because it’s Makita, you just know it will be some quality kit. And all for a mere \u00a313 – talk about a bargain. You get a miniature ratchet, a case, and within it, a selection of drive bits including the traditional Pozi, Philips, flathead and hex. This is the perfect little tool to have on your person, in the car or just on hand anywhere where you might be tinkering. How good is it? Well, we just bought one. How could we not?<\/p>\n

Better – Lego Speed Champions Corvette Set<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

You are never, and we will die on this hill, too old for Lego. Ever. You can be six or you can be sixty, Lego will still bring joy. The thrill of building something from a collection of blocks will never fade, especially when those blocks make a little set consisting of a modern and classic Chevrolet Corvette, as per the set here<\/a>. It’s a charming little kit. It packs plenty of detail, but it isn’t the mammoth head-scratcher that some of the bigger, more technical kits can be. This is the kind of thing you can gleefully assemble in under an hour on Christmas day morning. As stocking fillers go, there can be little out there to beat this. Whoever you gift this to will be over the moon, trust us.<\/p>\n

Best – Wera Advent Calendar<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
