A little while ago, we did a review on the Worx Hydroshot battery jet-wash,<\/a> and it was very good indeed. So we will assume that you’ve bought one by now, yes? If you have, good news, because this nifty little Worx cordless vacuum<\/a> runs on the same battery, due to it being part of the Worx 20V range. That means you can get it cheaper, because you already have power. But don’t worry if you don’t, as it comes in at under \u00a3100 with everything you need. And while that might seems like a lot for a cordless vacuum, it’s really not. This is great little bit of kit, and one we would encourage you to have in your car to keep the interior tip top.<\/p>\n

The Product<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The size of a four-pack of beers, this tiny little Worx vacuum<\/a> is light, it’s extremely well made and it’s clever, too. The handle provides a home for the main nozzle, while the body has inserts in which the carpet and crevice tool can be stowed. There’s a chunky power button, the battery slots into the back neatly, while the dust chamber can be accessed and emptied at the push of a button. There is an in-built, replaceable filter, too. It’s neat, and looks the part. Worx proudly claim it has 10KPa of sucking power, not that we know what that means. We do know it’s not a device for anything seriously dirty or soiled, but it doesn’t claim to be. This is for general cleaning. But is it any good?<\/p>\n

The Test<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Having not cleaned the footwells of one of the fleet for while, it was full of grit and gravel. Perfect then for this little vacuum to suck on, so to speak. And suck it does. We don’t know what 10KPa means, but we now know what it looks like. The vacuum itself is light at 1.8kg so manoeuvring in the cabin of the car is easy. The hose isn’t very long, so you need to hold the vacuum in one hand and the hose in the other, again, so to speak. We used the crevice attachment first to increase sucking power and to get the bulk of the grit up, then we used the carpet attachment to pull the dust out of the fibres, and what a grand job it did. Took us a couple of minutes to do, and it did a good job. The vacuum makes a noise, obviously, but it’s not aggressive and doesn’t leave your ears ringing.\u00a0 It’s a great bit of kit for keeping your car interior clean. The crevice tool worked great on the seats and the hard to reach areas of the dash, too.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
