There are few locations as reverential when it comes to exotic supercars and prestigious classics as Monaco. The mere mention of the name conjures up mental canvases delicately painted with rich hues of vintage Aston Martins alongside beautifully formed textures of brand new Lamborghinis, all with the stunning French Riviera as a back drop, bathed in glorious summer sunshine. Well one such event encapsulates all of that and more and it’s an event that Car & Classic is proud to be partnering this year. Yep, that’s right, we’re teaming up with Top Marques Monaco<\/a>, an international supercar event that the New York Times once described as \u201cthe most exclusive car show in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"automotive,<\/p>\n

High praise indeed for the distinguished event that will be bringing the biggest names in the supercar and hypercar industry as well as a large number of niche independent manufacturers to the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco for its 18th edition from June 7th to 11th, 2023. Not only that but since 2022 the esteemed show now caters to classic cars too, offering car lovers and enthusiasts the possibility to peruse and purchase iconic models from all eras under the same roof. The opening of a brand-new hall dedicated solely to classic cars last year was a great success and as a result Top Marques Monaco will be showcasing even more prestigious sports cars from the ’50s to the ’90s with every single vehicle being for sale.<\/p>\n

We spoke to Top Marques Monaco CEO Salim Zeghdar who said: \u201cMy ambition was to add a classic car hall to the event as I realized there was a huge interest in iconic sports cars from the ’50s to the ’90s. I wasn\u2019t wrong. Last year\u2019s vintage department was a big success, and brought a new, elegant, and exciting dimension to Top Marques.\u201d<\/em> He went on to say: \u201cIt is a pleasure to partner Car & Classic for our event this year. We can now legitimately say we are one of the only auto events in the world to showcase rare supercars from yesterday, today, and tomorrow.\u201d<\/em> We don’t know about you but to us that sounds like the perfect way to spend a few days!<\/p>\n

The show will comprise more than just cars, however, with a dedicated area for bespoke motorcycles, as well as a section for transport innovations, including ground-breaking flying vehicles. For timepiece connoisseurs, Top Marques will also offer the chance to see and buy collections from some of the most exclusive watch brands, whilst superboat lovers can peruse the latest models on the Esplanade. Spanning four whole days there really will be something for everyone – depending on how deep your pockets are of course – but you don’t have to buy. Simply being there to soak up the sun and the atmosphere, as well as pore over all of the stunning machinery on offer, would be a truly wonderful experience in itself.<\/p>\n
