You could be forgiven for thinking that Range Rover fettlers, Overfinch, is a fairly recent thing. After all, we have all seen an Overfinch version of the L322 or later. However, the truth is the company has been adding bits and squeezing every last bit of power out of Range Rovers since 1975, and as this particular Range Rover demonstrates, that puts their work right in the firing line of the Classic. And this 1991 570 HSi<\/a><\/em> example is not only rare, but possibly the best one of its kind to exist today.<\/p>\n

\"Range<\/a><\/p>\n

Immaculate from bumper to bumper, it’s evident that this 1991 Range Rover Overfinch 570 HSi has been cherished from the very moment it left the factory. Make no mistake, this handsome beast is so minty fresh that it could quite easily pick up myriad awards should you take it to car shows. You won’t though, because you’ll be having far too much fun driving it. Under that side-vented bonnet, you won’t find a Rover V8. Instead, you’ll find a General Motors 5.7 unit with ceramic coated headers, a heavy duty cooling pack, and all mated to a reconditioned automatic transmission fitted in 2020.<\/p>\n

\"Range<\/a><\/p>\n

As you can see, this 1991 Range Rover Overfinch 570 HSi<\/a><\/em> is immaculate to look at, a real treat for the eyes. As well we all know, the Classic was prone to dissolving, but that’s not the case here. This one has lead a cherished life, and as such it’s rock solid. It sits on a set of custom and incredibly rare Overfinch alloy wheels, The Eastnor Green paintwork shines bright, with a rich, deep gloss throughout, while additional touches like the Hella driving lights and subtle rear Overfinch badges serve to earn this Classic a second glance.<\/p>\n

\"Range<\/a><\/p>\n

Inside, it’s a sea of welcoming, warm, golden velour. It might have 138k on the clock, but the interior isn’t letting on. No wear, nothing is broken, the carpets have been protected for decades under factory mats. It’s glorious inside, truly. Not to mention outlandishly comfortable. You’ll be so settled in there, you won’t care about the fuel gauge dropping faster than a lead balloon!<\/p>\n

This 1991 Range Rover Overfinch 570 HSi<\/a><\/em> is, make no mistake, a rare opportunity. These early Overfinch models seldom change hands because finding one is so difficult. However, the owner here has other vehicles to play with, hence this sale, Bidding is already strong, so if you want one of the rarest Range Rover Classics out there, you need to strike now.
