Seeing as All Hallow’s Eve is approaching we thought we’d take a look at one of the most famous movie cars to ever appear on spooky celluloid. Whilst the 1958 Plymouth Fury from Christine<\/a> may take the top spot in terms of sheer scream factor, few can argue that the Cadillac Miller-Meteor (more commonly known as ‘Ecto-1’) from Ghostbusters remains one of the most iconic classic film cars of all time, regardless of genre.<\/p>\n

Ghostbusters is such a crowd pleaser of a film, not to mention a franchise that has spawned multiple sequels, animated series, toy lines, games and even breakfast cereal. So much so that practically everyone is familiar with its four-wheeled star. The fact that it’s an estate car (and you know how much we adore a wagon), not to mention cooler than a polar bear’s toenails, further solidifies its super star status. Let’s be honest, Ecto-1 is a character in itself and one that perfectly encapsulates the mood and humour of the movie.<\/p>\n
