The Dodge Charger<\/a>, specifically the \u201868 to \u201870 models, could really do with an agent. These cars carry with them significant presence, and as such, they earn a place on screen that is often just as important as the protagonists (or antagonists) themselves. Certainly in the case of films like the <\/span>Fast and Furious <\/span><\/i>franchise the Dodge Charger isn\u2019t just Dom\u2019s car, it\u2019s a character in its own right.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, the Charger has been in more than just the <\/span>Furious<\/span><\/i> films. It\u2019s been on the silver screen more times than some A-listers. We\u2019ve rounded up five of our favourite on-screen appearances here, but appearances in which the Charger has been a main player, the star, the lead. It\u2019s been a supporting star many times, like in 1983\u2019s Christine for example. But these are the \u2018hero\u2019 films – Chargers front and centre. No <\/span>Dukes of Hazzard <\/span><\/i>though because A) the film was terrible and B) that\u2019s just too obvious!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

1) Death Proof<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Quentin Tarantino\u2019s 2007 \u2018grindhouse\u2019 flick, <\/span>Death Proof <\/span><\/i>was\u2026 well, it was weird. But it\u2019s Tarantino, so that\u2019s to be expected. The premise is based around a slightly psychotic chap by the name of Stuntman Mike, played by Kurt Russel. He likes to kill people with his car. Standard stuff. Um, right?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
