The Appeal
If you love essential and spartan cars, a Land Rover Series is the ideal car for you. They are undoubtedly among the easiest classic cars to handle and maintain and there are very few other vehicles with as much focus on functionality rather than comfort, regardless of their age.
This 1966 Land Rover is a Series IIA, but even the most experienced could mistake it for a Series III example, as the front wings and radiator grille have been replaced with components from the later model. As can be seen in the photographs, this Land Rover is in remarkably good condition for its age, and we have been assured that it has been carefully maintained, having been used for many years as a service vehicle by a Rover workshop.
