The Appeal
The Type 939 Spider had a simple name but a lot to live up to. Any new open-top Alfa carrying that nameplate comes with the heavy weight of expectation. Styled by Giugiaro, well built and powered by a decent range of engines, the new car delivered.
The Limited Edition added an elevated specification and bespoke colours, including the Carbonio Black metallic of this car. It has covered less than 63,000 miles and is fitted with the 185bhp 2.2L JTS petrol engine that combines decent poke with real world economy.
The service history shows regular work to May 2023 and less than 3,000 miles ago. The last work included a brake fluid flush and replacement. The vendor acquired the car two years ago and has used it for a memorable top-down trip to France. It has been garaged inbetween use.
The car comes to market in good order with current MOT to May 2026.
