The Appeal
Even when you can see how they did it, you may still wonder how they did it. That is, fit six people, in comfort, in the confines of a footprint just 50cm longer than a Mini.
However they achieved it, achieve it they did, creating one of motoring’s quirkiest and most practical classics. Most of the 250,000 built were LHD home market cars. Just a handful, believed around 100, were RHD examples like this one. The new owner will be in illustrious company - New Zealand band Crowded House and none other than John Lennon owned RHD Multiplas.
Tastefully finished in green and white, it is in very good condition. That is thanks to a life spent in dry southern Italy prior to an older restoration there by marque specialists. It has covered just 1,000kms since completion.
Rare and restored to a high standard, this is one for the discerning collector.
History and Paperwork
- First registered in Italy on 25th June 1958
- Reported to have been imported and registered in the UK on 01/05/2017
- HPI records indicate the vehicle was imported in 1977 but this is likely an error
- No MOT required but vendor says this can be arranged if buyer requires
