The Appeal

As well as being behind some of the world's greatest sports cars, Porsche also made successful tractors. Indeed, the 108 is one of the more charming products to bear the famous Stuttgart name. Produced in the late 1950s, these air-cooled diesel tractors have become highly sought-after collector pieces, prized for their engineering pedigree and distinctive styling: a guaranteed conversation starter at any classic vehicle gathering or agricultural show.

This 1959 example has been comprehensively restored, with both the mechanicals and cosmetics renewed in detail. The engine, clutch, electrical system, and ancillaries have all been overhauled or replaced, and the vendor reports that it runs well.
