The Appeal
If this ‘73 Buggy gets you humming a certain banana-themed tune, we’re with you. Nothing on four wheels quite delivers a fun, carefree, sun-kissed world quite like one of the many VW-based bugs. And, right now, we all could do with more of that.
With its well-kept black paintwork, snazzy flame decals and chrome wheels, this LWB Bug is all about standing out. It is practical too, equipped with four seats and seatbelts front and rear to keep everyone inside when you hit the dunes and the sand.
The odometer indicates low mileage since completion. The condition certainly supports that, but it is not verified. MOT records show that it has covered few miles since the last advisory-free test 10 years ago.
Some light checks and recommissioning may be needed. But with the weather only just warming up, you’ve got plenty of time to do that before the hitting the beach this summer.
