Why we love it
Created to rival the Mini Cooper, the Autobianchi A112 Abarth carved out a unique personality thanks to the expertise of the famous Turin tuner. More powerful and sharper than standard versions, it combines a light weight with a lively and eager engine, making it one of the most engaging sports city cars of the 1970s and 1980s.
Today, well-preserved examples are becoming increasingly hard to find, which adds to the appeal of this 1985 A112 Abarth. Presented in a classic red with black interior, it displays a smart overall presentation and appears to have been carefully maintained over the years.
Acquired by its current owner in 2024, the car has benefited from a recent maintenance programme representing nearly €3,000 of work. The seller indicates that it runs properly and still delivers the dynamic character that made little Abarths famous.
