The Appeal
The Mk3.5 Golf Cabriolet was the swansong of Volkswagen's long-running open-top Golf lineage, blending the updated styling of the Mk3 with the proven, robust cabriolet platform. In SE specification with black leather trim and automatic transmission, it makes for a refined and usable soft-top: ideal for fair-weather motoring.
This 1998 example in silver has covered a modest indicated mileage and is reported to remain entirely original throughout. The vendor states that both the bodywork and interior are in excellent condition, and recent mechanical attention to the folding roof mechanism should ensure trouble-free operation. Accompanied by a current MOT, this Golf Cabriolet looks well placed for summer enjoyment.image.png4.04 MB
