The Appeal
The final Rover Mini Cooper Sport holds a special place in motoring history, the last chapter of a story that began in 1959. Finished in the popular Solar Red with a silver roof and bonnet stripes, this example is noted in a Wood & Pickett Mini Centre valuation report as being one of the very last cars off the production line.
The odometer shows 18,163 miles, a figure supported by its maintenance history. Of its four former registered keepers, one held the car for nearly 17 years, and the car was previously maintained by a keeper who is a mechanical engineer. It retains its cassette stereo, mats, four front-mounted spotlights and Minilite-style alloy wheels, and comes accompanied by a good selection of paperwork, including the V5C, MOT certificates, owner's manuals, and service invoices stretching back to 2007.
