Very rare 300bhp 5-cylinder Turbo S60R with rare manual gearbox
Believed one of only 4 manual Sonic Blue S60Rs sold new in the UK
Sonic Blue (Paint Code 467) - rare, premium "hero colour" introduced specifically for the 2006 and 2007 facelift models
In current ownership for 17 years
Only two former registered keepers
Volvo service history
Retained in unmodified factory specification throughout
The Appeal
It's a bit of a rare groove, and much quirkier than the more oft-seen Audi and BMW sports sedans on the market - the S60R is an impressive machine through and through, with a 2,500cc inline five-cylinder turbo engine and a sophisticated 4C adaptive chassis. Manual examples are especially prized among enthusiasts and are bound to prove engaging.
This particular S60R has been in the care of its current keeper since 2009 - a 17-year tenure that speaks to the esteem in which it is held. Supported by a Volvo service history, it has been conscientiously maintained and kept in factory specification with no modifications.
With a valid MOT until April 2027, this S60R is ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper. It's a seriously scarce spec, and one that should tick any boxes. From the premium colour code - which was on for only two model years - to the remarkably scarce manual gearbox, it comes together to a deeply exclusive S60R of which only 4 British examples are known to exist. image.png1.49 MB
