The Fiat 1100 Sleeping by Carrozzeria Viotti is among the most distinctive offshoots of the 1100/103 family. Often regarded as Italy's answer to the Chevrolet Nomad, this coachbuilt two-door station wagon was penned by the renowned designer Mario Revelli di Beaumont, blending elegant lines with thoughtful practicality. The "Sleeping" name referred to its reclining seats, a clever feature that set it apart from more utilitarian family cars of the era. Surviving examples with Viotti coachwork are scarce, making any appearance on the market a noteworthy occasion.

This example, bearing chassis number 103 087733 and based on the Fiat 1100/103 platform, has been previously restored and was acquired from a collector. It is an opportunity to acquire a rare and characterful piece of post-war Italian coachbuilding history.
