The Appeal

The Strolch Progress 175 is one of the more obscure and desirable scooters to emerge from Germany's post-war two-wheeled boom. Produced in limited numbers during the mid-1950s, it offered a distinctive alternative to the dominant Italian marques of the era, combining a willing 175cc engine with the unusual convenience of electric start, a genuine rarity on a scooter of this vintage.

This 1954 example has been comprehensively restored and is presented in what the vendor describes as truly collectable condition. It holds an FIM certificate, affirming its historic significance, and comes with Italian registration documents ready for transfer. For collectors of rare post-war European scooters, these machines surface very seldom, and finding one restored to this standard is almost unheard of.
