The appeal

The Heinkel Kabine is one of the most iconic and endearing microcars of the post-war era: born in the design offices of an aircraft manufacturer, it features an ingenious layout in a miniature bubble-shaped body. The one-rear-wheel Kabine 153 is among the most sought-after variants, and surviving examples—whatever their condition—are becoming increasingly rare.

This 1959 example benefits from a cradle restoration carried out in 2022; the seller states that the whole unit was put back into condition in line with the original specifications. Registered in France on a collection registration document, it looks ready to be enjoyed.
