The appeal

The second-generation Corvette – the legendary C2 Sting Ray – is surely one of the most iconic American cars of the 1960s. It’s with this generation that the Corvette truly comes into its own as a sports car, pairing a sculpted silhouette with genuinely impressive performance for the era.

This elegant 1964 example wears its original “Daytona Blue” paint, rare and spectacular, matched with a white soft top that delivers a particularly refined contrast. This is a true timewarp, retaining many desirable period features, including power windows, the original “Corvette” radio and “knock-off” wheels, now fitted with brand-new whitewall tyres.

As deep as the night sky, “Daytona Blue” beautifully brings to life Larry Shinoda’s sculpted body lines. It catches the light while highlighting the car’s shaped contours, enhanced by the many chrome details and the white soft top.

The cabin is just as appealing, with its period Corvette radio, seats showing a subtle patina and a dashboard that’s been carefully maintained. An interior that’s both elegant and authentic, making the most of the C2’s generous glass surfaces and promising great driving experiences in this American icon.
