The Appeal
The DB9 Volante is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful open-top grand tourers of the 21st century. With its naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 producing a glorious soundtrack and its timeless lines penned under the direction of Henrik Fisker, it occupies a special place in Aston Martin's modern lineage, a car that feels every bit as special as its forebears.
This 2006 example shows just 12,854 miles on the odometer and has clearly been cherished rather than merely owned. The vendor reports that it has been stored under cover for most of its life and that it has never been driven in the rain during the current ownership period. It is said to retain its factory-standard specification throughout, with no modifications, and benefits from a strong maintenance history including a main dealer service within the last 800 miles. For those seeking a remarkably well-kept DB9 Volante, this is an opportunity well worth serious consideration.
