The Sportster is one of a range of standard option Marlins - see photo on the left - June 2019 Classic and Sportscar magazine article - BMW engined car featured with M3 suspension
This car entertains and moves pretty rapidly... here is a demonstration you tube film of a Sportster, driven by Chris Goffey, albeit with a 2. 8 BMW engine rather than the 2. 5 BMW engine fitted to this car :-

(THIS IS NOT BASED ON EITHER TRIUMPH HERALD OR MARINA running gear - quite a different car)
Used last year on an Alpine trip to Italy and back to great success by septuagenarian owner -
BMW engine from a 525 Saloon
Not perfect cosmetically with slight crazing to GRP - no damage though, just a patinated car
Accent is loosely on Alfa Romeo 8C type looks - the Italians say they were confused last year.
Huge file provided on the Sporster model by Marlin as you see in the photos
Approx 13, 000 miles recorded
Huge fun for under £10k
