Beautiful and unmolested Velocette Thruxton. Confirmed matching numbers for engine, frame and gearbox.
7 documented owners in total with just 25. 173 km from new.
Alton electric start and dynamo fitted. Beltdrive fitted. Modern Mikuni carburettor fitted.
Apart from these upgrades everything is very original and well kept. All bolts are original cadmium and look like they haven’t been turned.
Original rear sets/ gearchange/ brake in very good original condition. Original Dunlop alloy rims and cadmium plated butted spokes. All original cables. Please study the photos carefully, hopefully they do the Thruxton justice.
The petrol tank and the mudguards were repainted about 10 years ago and are as new. The petrol tank has one very small, soft dent on the right hand side which is not very visible. I believe it can be pulled out. All other paint on the bike is original and well kept. The seat was also replaced about 10 years ago.
Mechanically the bike is perfect and needs nothing. Good compression. The gearbox selects freely and accurately.
This is a lovely beast for the road. A very nice Thruxton that is ready to be used on the road and very useable with the Alton electric starter and Mikuni carb for smoother running.
The Velocette Thruxton has current EU registration documents.
