For sale is a rare Lea-Francis 16/ 60 Special from 1929. The car underwent a full restoration between 2017 and 2019 and was built into a sporty racing machine. All work was carried out in Germany; corresponding receipts and documentation are available.
The 4‑cylinder Riley engine with 2. 5 litres displacement and a supercharger was recently fully rebuilt. The power is transmitted via a five‑speed gearbox by Alfa Romeo. Since completion, the Lea‑Francis has successfully taken part in numerous events, including the Nürburgring Classic, the Solitude Revival and the Schauinsland Klassik.
The Lea-Francis 16/ 60 Special is registered in Germany and ready to compete in a wide range of classic motorsport and vintage car events.
