Largely complete vehicle, suitable as a project or for spare parts
The Charm
Jeep conquered the roughest terrain with the original Willys MB. Then, in 1963, it conquered the suburbs and created a whole new market segment: the SUV. The original SJ Wagoneer was just as revolutionary, and its heirs are still in production today, 62 years later.
This is an opportunity to rediscover where it all began. This is a very early Wagoneer, built in the first year of production. It is clearly a restoration project, but appears largely complete, with only a few details to be assembled. It could be a valuable source of parts, but hopefully it will have a chance to get back on the road.
The engine is a 3.2L Indenor XDP 6.90 six-cylinder diesel. It has not been started and is in need of inspection and rebuild, as presumably are the remaining mechanicals.
This Wagoneer represents a great opportunity for the right buyer. For everyone else, it is a timely reminder of how revolutionary Jeep was.20250706_120706.jpg11.06 MB
