The Appeal

Delays to the introduction of the brand new XJ6 gave fans of Jaguar’s Mk2 a final treat: the 420. Taking the S-Type as its starting point, with its independent rear suspension from the E-Type, the 420 added more traditional styling and extra luxury. 
Just 7,500 RHD cars were built over two years. Whether you’re drawn by the pokey 4.2litre XK engine, manual gearbox and E-Type mechanicals or the sumptuous interiors, these are handsome and rewarding classics for modern enthusiasts. 
This car began its life in the UK before being exported to Ireland 20 years ago. It was dry stored for 16 years before being extensively recommissioned by the seller. The work included a new clutch and full service. This is a great opportunity to own a classic Jaguar with a rich history and recent mechanical updates.
