It's often claimed that Enzo Ferrari said the Jaguar E-Type was "the most beautiful car in the world". Whether that's true, we'll probably never know, but it's hard to deny that the E-Type is undoubtedly one of the most exquisitely styled cars of all time. Good looks aside, the big cat was also fabulous to drive, and later Series III examples like this one from 1971 proved excellent long-distance tourers thanks to their torquey V12 engine.
