The Appeal
It may have been a simple family car by conception, but the Peugeot 304 was immediately destined for great things. This mid-sized car's chassis would set a template for the future of the company's next quarter of a century, while the Pininfarina styling became a common sight roaming much of Europe in simply superb stead, every bit the elegant, practical motor.
The 304 S, then, was always bound to be a hit, too. With a twin choke/twin barrel carburettor offering an extra ten horses under the bonnet, this gave the car enough perk in its step to raise more daring eyebrows, and with its decidedly practical looks, it was quite the sleeper sports car, too.
This rare right-hand drive car has been comprehensively overhauled and resprayed, and presents beautifully. Having been with the vendor for the past twelve years, it's clearly been well looked after, and should make a very fine addition to your fleet!
