"The best in its class", so said Garelli's promotional materials. It was a hard thing to deny - these mopeds were Italian exotica when it was really hitting its element. Garelli sports mopeds were imported into Britain by Agrati Sales (UK) Ltd, who proudly composed all manner of increasingly trippy marketing material and impressive sales pamphlets to work their magic.

Bold perfomance and remarkable agility made these vintage two-wheelers stuff of legend, and the Rekord was one of the finest small mounts to ever hit the competition circuit - reaching an impressive 60mph, quite an accolade for relatively small, lightweight machine.

This 1973 Rekord is a great ambassador for one of Italy's finest mopeds, and is ready and waiting for its new keeper. It's been cherished as a collector's item, seeing very little mileage, and still looks in fabulous order.
