The Appeal
It’s not hard to understand the BGT’s enduring appeal. Italian-infused styling, practical mini-GT abilities and, of course, the resources of an unrivalled collection of clubs, owners and specialists.
This ‘73 BGT is the kind of example you hope to find. It has had just five keepers in its 52 years, the current one since 1996. We are told he used it regularly until becoming ill.
The white paintwork is completed by bright chrome wires with centre hubs. Key to this car’s appeal is surely the upgraded blue leather interior with its extensive walnut trim, which turns MG’s coupe into a proper luxury GT.
The history file shows regular ongoing maintenance. The radiator was replaced in 2019 and the rear brakes were serviced prior to sale. It’s clear this is a much-loved classic and we wish it well in its new life.
The vendor says:
“This is an attractive, running vehicle that sounds impressive and will turn heads. It has been cherished by it's most recent owner.”
