The Appeal
The advent of the 'hot hatchback' put paid to the once world-beating British sports car. And as good as the new breed of front-wheel-drive hatchbacks were, it's a great shame this rear-wheel-drive roadster died out. One of those casualties of the GTI era was the excellent MG Midget, a car that had been delighting enthusiasts since the early '60s.
Car & Classic is delighted to offer one of the last 50 MG Midgets manufactured, all of which were produced in black.
The vendor tells us:
"A special little car. The tan interior works well with the black finish and Rostyle wheels set it off perfectly. Had it's final official MOT after I purchased it and I've kept it serviced with a recent rear brake overhaul the last job done.
