The Appeal

Introduced in 1984, the Bentley Eight was intended to attract a new generation of buyers to the marque while retaining the engineering, craftsmanship and presence for which Bentley had long been renowned. Named after its iconic V8 engine, the model combined traditional Bentley luxury with a subtly more contemporary image, helping to broaden the marque’s appeal both at home and abroad.

This 1985 example is presented in an elegant gold-over-Oxblood colour combination and has recently become MOT exempt by virtue of its age. While some minor cosmetic attention may be desired in due course, it remains a handsome and usable classic, equally at home on leisurely weekend drives or longer touring journeys.
