It took Jaguar thirteen years of XJ-S production to come out with its own convertible. US buyers couldn't wait, so well-regarded firm Hess & Eisenhardt developed its own which was available through Jaguar main dealers in the USA. Equipped with twin fuel tanks, specially body reinforcements and several other unique modifications, these Hess & Eisenhardt convertibles are still highly regarded among Jaguar enthusiasts and are ain interesting artefact from the firm's history.
This 1988 V12-engined example is reportedly matching numbers and has just 66,214 warranted miles on the odometer. Imported to the Netherlands from the USA with all duties and VAT paid along with its US Title and European import documents.
