The integration of the AJ6 3.6L in-line six-cylinder engine under the bonnet of the XJ-S brought a new dynamic to Jaguar's iconic coupé. This engine was so powerful and fluid that the brand feared it would overshadow the V12 version.
Instead, it broadened the model's appeal, offering similar performance while being lighter and more economical. So it's a popular choice for enthusiasts who want to drive their Jaguar regularly.
This 1990 RHD coupe is distinguished by its superb Cranberry Red colour, enhanced by chrome-spoke wheels and whitewall tyres. It spent much of its life in the UK before being sold by Bonhams in 2018 to its current owner. It has notably been exhibited in a British museum and owned by a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club.
