The Appeal
Bolting a big turbo to Bentley’s venerable 6.75l V8 brought the excitement back to the brand with the Mulsanne Turbo. But it took the later Turbo R to give buyers a car that went around corners with the same alacrity it displayed on the straights.
Contemporary reviewers were amazed that such a big, heavy car could handle so well. Customers were equally pleased, 4,653 snapping one up despite the $195,000 price tag.
Attractively finished in popular Light Ocean Blue with a complementary cream leather interior, this low mileage Turbo R is a chance to experience a very good example of these rewarding sports saloons. It is a low mileage car that has remained with its keeper since 2007, during which time it has been very sparingly used. It comes to market with MOT to June 2024 and in very good order.
