The Appeal
Taking its name from the oval Surrey circuit where Bentley made its early racing name, the Brooklands gave buyers the looks and sporting set-up of the Turbo R, but without the technological complexity. The eagle-eyed will spot the one-year-only green badges that denote this early Brooklands as one of the 107 RHD cars built in 1993. Just 625 were built in with the wheel on the right.
The Brewster Green paintwork is another nod to tradition because it is a shade usually associated with custom coachbuilt Bentleys. It remains in very smart condition, as is the sumptuous Oatmeal leather interior.
We’re told that the vendor acquired the car in 2007 and has always stored it under cover. The service book shows a run of regular stamps by main dealers and well-known specialists up to 2010 at 82,000 miles. Thereafter, we’re told it has been used sparingly and maintained and serviced by the current keeper’s own mechanics. He is a member of the marque Club and the car has completed a trip to the Italian Lakes since purchase.
The car comes with current MOT valid to December 2026 so is ready to drive away.
The vendor says:
“Runs and drives beautifully. Very admired at all our Bentley rallies. Completed an Italian Lakes Tour with this car. Sadly only for sale due to age of driver.”
