The Appeal
Lets put to one side for a moment the intrinsic appeal of the R129 SL320. This car should already be well known to classic car fans as it was restored by none other than Practical Classics.
The extensive restoration is documented on Amazon’s ‘Fixing Up With Amazon’ and in the pages of the classic car world’s popular monthly.
Now we can get onto the multifold appeal of the car itself. It is the SL320, for many the pick of the range because it combines decent performance with fair economy. It is also a well specified car, including upgraded interior, optional rear seat, matching hard top and AMG 18in wheels.
Following the restoration by Practical Classics the car was won in a competition by the vendor. He is reluctantly now selling it due to lack of storage. That gives the buyer a great opportunity to acquire a restored SL320 that is ready to drive and show.
