The Appeal

Here is one for the many enthusiasts of Jaguar’s original XK8: a one lady keeper, low mileage car with full service history by main dealers and marque specialists. And as an added bonus, it is in popular Sapphire Blue metallic with a very rare Ivory half leather interior.

All good reasons to want a car that took Jaguar 16 years to perfect, but was clearly worth the wait. A good XK8, like this one, is both sumptuous tourer and weekend cruiser, a car that is as pleasant to be driven in as it is to drive.

This car is in the sort of condition that its history suggests: check the usual XK8 weak spots and you’ll find them all very well presented. Even the interior looks barely used - there is none of the usual bolster wear or trim scuffs of a car of this age.

To underline the point, the car comes to market with MOT to March 2026 containing, of course, no advisories. It has the makings of a collector car or can be simply a great way to travel from A to B.

The Condition

Popular Sapphire Blue metallic paintwork in very good order
Vendor notes that the car would benefit from a machine polish
There are some minor paintwork imperfections but nothing signficant
These include a small scuff to front bumper top and stone chips in same area
The offside rear quarter shows poor paint but not unsightly as shown
Bodywork is in very good order with only light surface corrosion on the bottom of front wheel arches
Floors, underside and sills understood to be in good order

Fitted with upgraded optional 18in alloy wheels in good presentable condition
The alloys show light kerbing to edges but not unsightly
