The Appeal
The Mercedes-Benz S500 of the late 1990s represented the pinnacle of luxury saloons, combining a smooth V8 engine with advanced technology and the comfort for which the S-Class is renowned.
This 1999 example has had just two former keepers, the last since 2006, and has been garaged for 19 years with sparing use. Finished in Horizon Blue Metallic with Orion Grey leather, it comes with original manuals, service book, V5C, spare wheel, tools, and removable tow bar.
Equipment includes air conditioning, electric sunroof, parking sensors, electric seats, OEM radio/CD/tape system, and the original Nokia phone. Recent work is said to include a new vacuum pump and battery, with the car reported to run smoothly and free of warning lights.
While showing age-related blemishes to bodywork, paint, and wheels, this largely original and carefully kept S500 remains an appealing flagship saloon, offering space, comfort, and prestige.
