The Appeal
Arguably the ‘ultimate’ production iteration of the Bentley Arnage, the Red Label model was conceived following the purchase of Bentley by the VW/Audi group, who knew they had a winning model on their hands, but didn’t appreciate the idea of having a flagship model with a rival (BMW) engine inside.
Therefore, the decision was made to re-engineer the Arnage with the venerable Rolls-Royce V8 engine (first used in the 1950s) fitted with a Cosworth-engineered turbo setup, allowing the newly-badged ‘Red Label’ Arnage to sprint from 0-60 in less than six seconds, and make use of ~400bhp on tap.
Originally sold with a list price of £149,000, a total of 2,273 were built, which boasted not only the revised V8 engine setup, but also subtle styling cues, electronic self-levelling suspension and upgraded brakes, and the ‘Red Label’ proved to be a hit with Bentley buyers.
This particular example is finished in an excellent colour combination, boasts a fantastic specification, and benefits from a full specialist/main dealer history, along with an extensive paper trail of invoices and other documentation.
Presented in fantastic condition and ready for the next owner to use and enjoy, this Arnage would make an excellent long-distance tourer to rack up the miles with ease.

- The rear centre console cupholders are inoperable
- A previous owner has replaced the original Alpine sat-nav with a TomTom unit
- Light wear visible to the chrome door inner covers
- No reported faults or issues with any electrical systems, switches or displays
- Spare wheel, warning triangle, umbrellas and gloves included
The Exterior
- Presents in very good order throughout, looks wonderful
- No known bodywork damage or accident history
- Chrome details and trims in good condition, though some commensurate dulling/patina visible
- Some light chips visible to the headlight glass, minor marks to the front bumper, grilles, etc
- General stone chips / light marks visible to paintwork in keeping with the car’s age and mileage
- Alloy wheels in excellent condition with no kerb rash, wrapped in Pirelli tyres
The Mechanicals
- 6.7-litre turbocharged Rolls-Royce V8 engine
- No reported faults or problems, with the vendor stating the car is in excellent health and drives wonderfully
- The engine bay and block present very well, with no sign of any issues
- Latest service took place in January 2022 at 88,473 miles, carried out by Bentley of Hampshire
- The most recent MoT exam took place on 22 September 2022, showing a first-time pass with advisories for worn rear brake pads and minor corrosion around the ‘rear suspension component mounting prescribed area’
