The Appeal

The X308 is, for many enthusiasts, the last roll of the dice for Jaguar’s traditional saloons. Evolved from the well-regarded XJ40, it added an all-new AJV8 engine to provide the effortless heft for which the original XJ was renowned.

This Anthracite Black 3.2L XJ8 Executive looks very purposeful on its BBS 18in alloys. We’re told it has covered 23,000 miles from new. It certainly presents well across the usual areas knowledgeable enthusiasts will check on these cars, particularly the rear arches and sills. Underneath the structure attracts no advisories on the recent MOT test. The car wears an ‘Arden’ badge. Although we know little of any work it may have received, it appears to be fitted with an uprated exhaust system.

The car has had just three keepers in its 23 years and is said by the vendor to have full service history. The MOT runs to October 2026.
