The Appeal
The Boxster was a slam dunk. It shared DNA with the new 996 but it was a very different car offering a visceral mid-engined driving experience.
The arrival of the Boxster S gave the car the extra performance that enthusiasts had been calling for. From 2003 this was dialled up again alongside improvements to the aesthetics.
This smart, high specification Boxster S has been very well looked after, including extensive maintenance work by the vendor, an independent Porsche specialist. Equipped with the desirable 6spd manual plus a long MOT, this is a very tempting example of one of the best mid-engined sports cars of the last 30 years.
