The Appeal
BMW’s M5 has set the benchmark for super saloons since its introduction in the 1980s. Each new version has evolved the concept and with the 2005 E60 the emphasise was on technology. There was also a brand new 5litre 495bhp engine, the first – and only – V10 ever to power a M5.
The key when choosing a E60 M5 is specification and service history. This smart Indianapolis Red metallic example ticks both of those boxes. Alongside the colour scheme there is a nice clutch of factory options – including a sunroof – and full service history. Presented in very good condition with the added appeal of a long MOT, this is a great example of BMW’s visceral saloon-shaped, supercar catcher.
