The Appeal
The Porsche 996 was a necessary step in Stuttgart's development, but it was controversial too. The loss of those legendary round headlamps disrupted the 911's elegant lines - something this, the 997 Carrera, was intended to correct. The car brought more traditional Porsche styling to the traditional boxer format - without sacrificing those mechanical innovations that ensured its longevity.
This particular example was originally based in the dry, warm climes of the Emirates. It's since been Imported to the Netherlands, where it's also been put through a PIWI test and has found to be in good overall order. It's a matching numbers example, too, and is of course picked out in that near-quintessential white livery.
