The Appeal

Such is Volvo’s reputation for solid, dependable saloons, estates and SUVs that it is easy to forget it also built convertibles. With their solid construction, quality engineering, supremely comfortable seats and decent practicality, these cars make great tourers and stylish alternatives to more common models from Audi, BMW and Mercedes.

This car was acquired by the first keeper for his wife to use as a holiday car. He specified it well, selecting the 5cyl 165bhp 2L turbo petrol engine and the limited edition ‘T Collection’ options package. It is finished in popular Silver Metallic with Off Black leather interior with carbon inserts.

The car spent its life at the owner’s holiday home in France until 2015 before returning to the UK. That helps explains the very low mileage of just over 31,000 miles and the well kept condition. It looks considerably younger than a 20 year old car.
