Launched in 2005 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, the 510bhp, bi-turbo V12 engined S600 L is a top of the line, luxury sedan incorporating every luxury one could want, combined with sublime ride comfort, safety and performance.

The massive V12 engine propels the car from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds, and on to a top speed of 155mph.

 Being the ‘L’ variant, it is 130mm longer than the standard car, increasing rear leg room dramatically. There is an enormous amount of legroom - even a six-foot passenger sitting behind a similarly sized driver can stretch out their legs.

The vendor purchased the car this year with no intention of selling however circumstances have recently changed and unfortunately this one, along with others in his vast collection must move on. 

The interior is certainly something to behold, boasting the impressive build quality you would expect from Mercedes-Benz’ top of the line luxury sedan.

The striking grey leather with burled walnut veneer is in fantastic condition.

Featuring just about every optional extra possible, and far too many to list, however some features of note are the night vision system, radar controlled adaptive cruise control with automatic braking, front and rear electric position memory, heated, and cooled seats, TV’s with video inputs and television tuners and vanity mirrors for every passenger.

The condition is remarkable given the milage, with the usual suspects such as the bolsters in fantastic condition, all of the leather and trims are in excellent shape.

The exterior is in stunning black with new AMG wheels shod new Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres.

 It has been machine polished and as such generally the paint is in excellent condition, with little to no swirls and a very shiny finish.

There are some small paint dings and it has had some repairs carried out to a reasonable standard but could have been done better. One such repair is to the offside rear quarter where the body meets the bumper, with a slight colour mismatch which is visible in the sunlight. Another mediocre repair has been carried out below the drivers headlight.

It would not take much to really perfect the bodywork on this car should you desire and the car is solid and sound and in generally good condition on the exterior.

The original V12 wheels will also be sold with the car.

Mechanically sound, the car has wanted for very little mechanically and all appears to be in good shape considering the milage.

No expense has been spared on maintenance and the car has been serviced at Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
