The Appeal
The W221 S600L appears to all the world to be a limousine. And it is, but with a 510bhp twin-turbo V12 beneath its extensive bonnet, it is also something of a supercar.
Not, we feel, that this 2006 example has been exercised that way. Finished in popular Iridium Silver with grey leather cabin, it is a high specification LWB car that has clearly been looked after.
The vendor acquired it in 2023 to add to his extensive collection of over 25 cars. Since then it has been little used and stored as in a heated and dehumidified unit. Despite its cossetted life the vendor has expended £2,000 on maintenance and servicing, most of it using marque specialist Klasse Services Automotive. Anything it needed at the time, they were told to do.
A decision to focus on more historic cars in the collection means that this smart example is now for sale. It would make perfect private wheels if your priorities are the best of everything, or since it is ULEZ compliant, there is scope to use it as a commercial limousine. Whichever you choose, the distinctive plate comes with it, and there is MOT to October 2025.
The vendor says:
“A future classic. I had intended to keep for 20 years but had underestimated the amount of time and effort required to properly look after 25 vehicles. In the same way I care for my patients. A decision was made to focus predominantly upon cars in "Historic" classification.”
