The Appeal
The 987 is really the sweet spot in Porsche's mid-engined roadster lineup, offering a balance of performance, handling, and everyday usability. Originally introduced in 2004, it's gone on to become one of the essential fixtures in Stuttgart's lineage. In particular, the 3.4-litre flat-six engine in the S model delivers a significant jolt of power over the standard Boxster - and is undoubtedly the one to get.
This 2007 example, resplendent in Porsche's near-obligatory Arctic Silver - is a fine one, having been garaged from new and maintained to a high standard. With just 50,700 miles on the clock, two former registered keepers, and a comprehensive service history with both main dealers and Porsche specialists, it's a truly fabulous car.
It remains factory standard with no modifications, and has just been serviced - it's ready and waiting to go!
