The Audi S5 was released in coupe form to the public alongside the more subtler A5 in 2007. 

The differences are subtle with a more aggressive body style which consists of side skirts, bigger air inlets on the front bumper and dual-quad tip exhaust. It was also equipped with LED daytime running lights around the bi-Xenon headlamps.

The Audi “S” range is part of the Quattro performance range, and the S5 is equipped with the 354bhp 4.2 V8 engine, producing a 0-60 time in just over 5 seconds this is a grand looking tourer as well as a performance sports car, especially with the slick six speed gearbox that makes this a true drivers car.

This particular Audi S5 has extensive service history and has been looked after by main dealerships and independent Audi garages from day one, a host of receipts are present as well as a fully stamped original Audi service booklet.

 The current owner has had the vehicle for nine months and enjoyed using it as a daily driver, he has just acquired another vehicle that will replace this one hence the sale. 

The car was very heavily specified from new with the addition of heated seats, carbon interior inlays, heated folding mirrors, TPS sensors, Audi parking system, adaptive headlights, cruise control, DVD satellite navigation, electric seats and the incredible sounding Bang and Olufsen sound system.

The car has its original Audi handbook pack and leaflets, the service portfolio is stamped at each service, as evident in the photographs. 

The current MOT is until 8th October 2022, their was an advisory for the ball joints which have been done by the current owner. 

The  seller notes that the car does only come with one key.

Renowned for their high quality interiors, this Audi S5 has one of the most stylish, including full leather upholstery with S5 logos embossed in to the seat facings, carbon inlays on the dashboard and door cards and splashes of chrome work to set off the cabin. 

Due to the high quality materials they have stood up to the cars thirteen years of age superbly, some minor creasing on the drivers bolster which is to be expected but otherwise the cabin looks fresh and in good order. 

Both door cards are free of marks, as are the chrome handles and carbon inlays. The DVD driven satellite navigation works perfectly, along with the radio and CD system.

The only area to point out is the starter button which has lifted slightly. Otherwise all plastics are in very good order, this confirms the care for this car by all of its owners.

The Ice Silver paintwork looks fresh and sets the svelte design of this Coupe perfectly, no scuffs or dents appear on the vehicle at all. 

As you would expect due to the age of the vehicle it does have some stone chips on it, mainly on the front lip of the bonnet and a couple of larger chips on the front bumper valance, minor marks which are only visible close up.

The only other area is a small dimple/chip on the near side front mirror, as shown in the photographs.

All four alloys are in very good condition, and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. These are in good condition with plenty of tread still on them.

The cars always been maintained regularly, mostly by Audi main dealers with some specialist in between. 

The current service was carried out by Winsford Classics where it has had gearbox and diff oils replaced along with transmission oil for the Haldex 4WD system. This was carried out in April 2021.

A manual V8 GT with the Quattro four wheel drive system is the perfect all year round daily driver, finished in Ice Silver metallic this car looks classy and stylish even thirteen years on and has a real pedigree about it.
